The College of Technical Engineering at the University of Alkafeel held its first council meeting for the 2024-2025 academic year on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri and the council members.

    Dr. Al-Amiri started by welcoming the attendees and conveying the gratitude and appreciation of the University rector, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, for their efforts during the previous academic year.

    Key topics discussed included : directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and preparations for the forthcoming academic year. The council emphasized the importance of faculty members working to enhance the scientific and practical skills of students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the job market after graduation.

    The dean also stressed the need to meet the requirements for program accreditation and to provide all necessary resources to implement the Bologna educational system for freshman and sophomore students. Moreover , the attention was given to preparations for the forthcoming 6th International Scientific Conference.

    This meeting reflects the College of Technical Engineering commitment to improving the educational process and raising student standards to achieve academic excellence and contribute effectively to serving the community.
