The College of Law at Al-Kafeel University, in collaboration with the Training and Continuing Education Unit, organized a seminar entitled: The Impact of Development of Legislation on the Legal Status of Expatriates in Iraq, presented by Asst. Lecturer Riam Abbas Ali Kassar, a member of the teaching staff at the college, on Wednesday, 1/12/2021, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law and a number of the teaching staff.

Al-Kassar indicated that the legislation of countries differs in regard to the legal status of the expatriates, and it follows that the citizen enjoys some advantages and rights, and is also bound by many duties, whereas the expatriate does not enjoy similar rights nor abide by those duties, and this difference varies in extent from one country to another.
