The College of Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmacognosy Branch at Al-Kafeel University organized a seminar on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions on Tuesday 7/12/2021, presented by Asst. Lecturer Rafa Yahya Mahdi. In the presence of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and the teaching staff.
The seminar included introducing the importance of the sixteenth goal of the sustainable development goals approved by the United Nations, which focuses on spreading peace and justice as well as building strong and solid institutions that operate with a high level of transparency.
The lecturer provided an overview of violence and its types, especially violence against women and children, emphasizing the basics of building strong institutions that ought to work with a high level of transparency to support the economy, spread the rule of law, combat poverty, and preserve the rights for all.
