The College of Law at Al-Kafeel University, in collaboration with the Training and Continuing Education Unit, organized a seminar on The Role of Iraqi Legislation in Addressing Poverty on Tuesday 7/12/2021, presented by the Asst. Lecturer Ammar Murad Gharkan Al-Issawi.
The seminar included a study of the state of poverty in society and its causes.
Al-Issawi also clarified that poverty is not an easy matter, whether it is related to combating it or alleviating it. It is a broad and widely ranged issue, and it requires efforts to eradicate it.
The government can address the problem, or at least reduce its repercussions, by creating solid scientific public policies.
