The College of Law at Al-Kafeel University held a seminar entitled: The Role of the Constitutional Judiciary in Establishing the Principle of Equality in collaboration with the Training and Continuing Education Unit on Monday, 12/13/2021.

 Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahim Hatem Al-Hasnawi presented the seminar in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law and the teaching staff.

The seminar aims to deepen the idea of equality between individuals by clarifying the concept of equality and its many applications, and this is done through constitutional texts that the drafters of Arab constitutions should formulate constitutional texts related to equality.

The lecturer confirmed the correlation between the principle of equality and general rights and freedoms must be inevitable, as one cannot dispense with the other. There is no equality without freedom and there is no freedom if the holders of public rights and freedoms are not treated equally and without discrimination based on sex, color, creed, language, or race.
