The Faculty of Pharmacy-University of AlKafeel held a seminar on water pollution and its impacts on organisms. It is claimed that any physical or chemical change in water quality will negatively affect organisms. Consequently, this will make water unstable in many areas. Thus, it will affect the life of people.
The lecturer underlined the necessity and the speed of approaching wastewater problems before it reaches soils or other water resources, which can be reused again to guarantee irrigation of the agricultural lands. He also assured elimination of the spilled oil that is caused by the shipping activities in the seawater - or navigational rivers - by burning٫ and bury the radioactive waste in specific deserts because it leaks under the groundwater and threatens its safety. This activity is a part of the University's plan to achieve sustainable development goals.
