The College of Dentistry, Department of Oral Surgery and Diagnostics, under the supervision of the Continuing Education Unit at Al-Kafeel University, held a scientific symposium entitled (Diet in type 2 diabetes).

Assistant teacher Furqan Hashem lectured at the college. On Wednesday, 10/3/2021, it was attended by the Dean of the College and a number of its faculty members.

The symposium dealt with & nbsp; Type 2 diabetes patients should have a special diet that reduces insulin resistance, which is the cause. The main reason for diabetes is the adoption of a so-called low-carb diet and the application of intermittent fasting under medical supervision.
