Dentistry at Al-Kafeel University held a scientific lecture entitled (Geriatrics in Dentistry), on Monday, 3/8/2021 .
The teacher, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Abdel-Shahid, the scientific assistant lectured in it. To the Dean of the College of Dentistry and attended by the Dean of the College and a number of its faculty members.
It included the importance of special medical treatment for the elderly, especially with regard to oral health, where the dentist must treat them in a special way when treating them because they are exposed to many chronic diseases and from They may be under the influence of a drug that interferes with the anesthesia given to them or with the prescription given to them.
This scientific lecture came within the scientific plan of the College of Dentistry.
