Under one of the university mission and as observed by the university chancellor , Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Al-Dahan, a team of fifth-stage dentistry students visited Ata Al-Najaf School in the village of Al-Ghadeer on Thursday 23 February 2023 to educate the school students about the importance of taking care of their health : mouth and teeth.
In the visit , there was an attempt to increase the level of health information and awareness of the pupils in guiding them to the right ways of teeth brushing and cleaning and their importance, how to choose foods that help keep the teeth free from decay and avoid foods that are harmful to the teeth. Then their teeth were examined, some of them are diagnosed and their families were contacted to follow up their cases.
