Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel , the college organized a Zoom training workshop on the AMBOSS educational platform on Tuesday, 14 October 2025. The workshop was supervised by Asst. Prof. Ghaith Hassan Alwan, Head of Information Technology Unit, and participated by Dr. Michel Marcus, a member of AMBOSS.
The workshop aimed to familiarize faculty members with the most important tools and ways of the platform to use them to support the educational process and develop e-learning skills, contributing to raising the level of medical education at the university and keeping pace with the latest globally adopted interactive methods in digital education.
The AMBOSS platform is one of the most prominent digital medical platforms dedicated to medical students and physicians. It provides accurate and comprehensive scientific content, including clinical reviews, study resources, and tools for preparing for international exams such as the USMLE and EMQ, and the like .
Participants emphasized that the workshop represented an important step to integrate modern educational technologies into the university environment, enhancing the efficiency of medical education and training. The workshop concluded with an exchange of views and suggestions for activating the use of the platform in future academic curricula.
