The Curriculum Committee at University of Alkafeel College of Medicine held its regular meeting on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, chaired by the committee head and attended by faculty members. The meeting aimed to discuss aspects of academic development and enhance the quality of medical education.
The meeting addressed reviewing mechanisms for updating curricula and developing study plans in line with national and international standards, focusing on integrating scientific advancements, improving student skills, and ensuring the achievement of distinguished learning outcomes that contribute to advancement.
The members discussed ways to adopt continuous assessment plans, including examinations and clinical activities, enhance cooperation between scientific departments, and adopt modern measurement tools that support the development of the curriculum and improve university performance efficiency according to standards.
The meeting concluded with recommendations : formation of specialized working groups to follow up on the implementation of curriculum updates and academic evaluation plans, and the preparation of a report on the results and progress achieved, to be submitted to the College Council for official approval in the coming period.
