The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , organized a guidance lecture for second-year students : "Seriousness and Responsibility: Your Path to Success," to enhance their personal and behavioral awareness.
The lecturer, Asst. Lect.Haider Adnan Ghazi Shaba, addressed the concepts of seriousness and responsibility, explaining that seriousness means focus, setting goals, and working toward them, while responsibility reflects their awareness of decisions and acceptance of the consequences. The emphasis fell on the importance of upbringing, life experience, and family environment in instilling these two fundamental qualities for academic and personal success. The lecturer reviewed key strategies for developing the concepts of seriousness and responsibility, including time management, prioritization, and keeping promises. He stressed the need for a balance between seriousness and flexibility, noting that seriousness without responsibility becomes cruelty , while responsibility fosters understanding and full awareness of consequences.
