On Monday 2 October 2023, the university of Al-Kafeel chancellor , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the vice-chancellor for scientific affairs ,Asst. Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, held a meeting for the teaching staff, in the presence of the deans of the colleges and their scientific and administrative vice-deans.

    The esteemed chancellor in his speech said to staff members : “ a professor is considered an essential and influential pillar in the process of educational and knowledge construction, as he germinates the concepts and methods of systematic and scientific thinking in the minds of students and how to deal with problems solving, they may face during their social and academic journey.” In time , he gives emphasis on the importance of employing guidance and advice in the educational process shoulder to shoulder with the scientific study, which contributes to achieving good academic products for the student.

    Furthermore , his main locus falls on the scope of the professor that should be observant of international, regional and local universities through scientific projects and research to learn new horizons ,discover scientific organized methods in confronting general and daily problems and to provide the society and people with the necessary scientific means to improve its methods in raising the efficiency and mastery of the researcher : teaching and scientific figures in the university are both as an essential nucleus in establishing “leadership and excellence.” Dr. Al-Dahan expressed his thanks and appreciation for the good efforts of them and wished them all incessant success in their scientific and educational careers in the service of students and society.

    In conclusion, the University chancellor hearkened to their comments that rotated around the mechanism of scientific projects, proposals, and presenting problems, with the aim of developing the teaching and research process. Here he directed to bring the development of treatments into effect with respect to the university instructions. And regulations .
