College of Medicine Hosting Professor from "Bristol" University.

As part of the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel initiative to hold scientific activities in the lifelong learning program for professional development and cooperation with competencies inside and outside Iraq, the college hosted Dr. Hudhaifa Adam Ali, an international consultant from the University of Bristol, UK, on Saturday, November 25, 2023. The lecture was attended by the Rector of University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the vice-rector for scientific affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, deans of colleges, their scientific and administrative professors, where Dr. Hudhaifa delivered a specialized scientific lecture on "Managing the Medical Process for Students" in professional development and self-capabilities. Dr. Hudhaifa emphasized guiding students scientifically to help them navigate medical pathways in their future lives to overcome challenges, including research and continuous learning pathways, during their studies to their graduation. He encouraged students and faculty to exert their utmost efforts to achieve the goal of presenting a model of young doctors who provide the best health and medical services to society. Dr. Hudhaifa admired the capabilities exceeding those of the finest universities in the United Kingdom and urged students to leverage these resources. The medical education consultant, Prof. Dr. Hilal Bahjat Al-Saffar, noted that the lecturer provided a specialized quality lecture on finding the future path for physicians and would participate with the curriculum committee in reviewing and developing the curriculum set by the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel, aligning it with global medical colleges to secure local and international accreditation. The lecturer was impressed by the projects of the Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine and the facilities, infrastructure, architectural style, systems at the university, which are comparable to those in prestigious global universities.
