University Of Alkafeel
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Alkafeel organized a workshop titled "Primary Particles in Atomic Structure and Recent Developments at CERN in Geneva" on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The workshop included discussions on recent scientific discoveries, including the discovery of the Higgs boson and its impact on scientific advancement.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ahlam Hussein Hassan, who holds a Ph.D. in Quantum Chemistry. Dr. Hassan highlighted concepts of quantum mechanics and the latest developments in this field. She also discussed the role of the world-renowned research center CERN in Geneva and its groundbreaking discoveries.
A select group of professors, faculty members, and administrative staff attend the event in the College of Pharmacy hall. The aim of this workshop is to provide academics and researchers with fundamental information about quantum mechanics , enhance their understanding of recent scientific advancements, yet also to open new avenues for scientific research.
