On Monday, 2/12/2024, University of Alkafeel , College of Technical Engineering, organized a lecture : “Using Artificial Intelligence in Reality ”, presented by Asst. Lect. Haider Hassan. The lecture focused on reviewing the practical applications of artificial intelligence in various areas of life :
- Creating artwork using specialized programs such as Midjourney and Leonardo AI.
- Natural language processing through voice cloning and music generation techniques.
- Programming and scientific research tools such as ChatGPT and Claude AI.
The lecture also included a detailed explanation of the mechanisms of large language models (LLMs) :
- Dividing texts into symbols (Tokenization) to understand and process texts.
- Representing texts as mathematical vectors (Vector Representation) to facilitate data analysis.
- Attention Mechanisms to understand the context of words and the relationships between them.
- Processing data across multiple layers to produce accurate and coherent outputs.
The lecture witnessed a distinguished attendance and wide interaction from students and faculty members, as they discussed the role of artificial intelligence in improving daily life and ways to employ its technologies in various fields.
