The College of Pharmacy at Al-Kafeel University held a workshop entitled “How to Build a Exam” on Wednesday 3/3/2021.
Dr. Ahmed Shaker Al-Kalabi lectured the workshop, which discussed the basic concepts in the construction of tests and their types in terms of the source of their construction and in terms of whether they are articles or objective, and (multiple-choice questions) were asked in it.
It also discussed the most important features that must be available in any Exam, which is honesty and stability. The episode also dealt with the types of honesty and stability in detail, the method of extracting honesty and reliability using solid statistical methods, vocabulary analysis, finding the level of difficulty and the criterion of discrimination for each of the test items.
The episode touched on electronic tests, the random distribution of test items, the importance of making tests time-restricted, and giving the time factor the attention it deserves in the administration of Exam.
