Under the aegis of the esteemed Chancellor of Alkafeel University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Aldahan, a training workshop was held in the College of Technical Engineering Hall on Wednesday morning, the 3rd of August 2022. The workshop tackled the techniques of using the platform to manage the received research articles of the Fourth International Scientific Conference of Alkafeel University (ISCKU 2022) which will be held during December 20-21, 2022. 

        The workshop was attended by the esteemed chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Aldahan, his Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Al-Mayali, Deans of the colleges, and the members of the scientific committee of the conference. It was presented by the Dean of the Medical and Health Technologies, Prof. Dr. Fadel Al-Tai, and the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Asst. Prof. Ali Al-Amri.

          The workshop involved several recommendations: the researchers should follow the guidelines of the conference and publications indexed in the SCOPUS; A specialized committee should be formed to examine the plagiarism by no more than 20%, using the official TURNITIN account of the university; each research article should send to 3 reviewers for evaluation, at least one of them should be from outside the country; the participants should follow the authentic assessment criteria and the specified times.

          At the end of the workshop, Aldahan praised the lecturers and members of the Scientific Committee for their active actions, and directed to hold a permanent meeting with the Scientific Committee members and the rest of the conference committees; to intensify efforts to achieve the conference aims; as well as reducing the participation and publication fees for students (researchers) by 20%, and supporting the researchers of the University to participate and publish for free.
