Coinciding with the Greater Eid of Allah , Al-Ghadeer Eid , at the university of Alkafeel , on Friday 7 July 2023, the activities of the first International Scientific Imamate Seven Days , held by the Secretariat General of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, started as of 6 July to 13 2023 on the slogan : “ Prophethood and the Imamate as a Single-Rooted Balm Tree beyond Chasm” and under the title : “ Imamate : Nation System” . The first conference , Imam Al : Equity Scale , took place at the University of Alkafeel in the presence of the legal trustee of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, Seid. Ahmed Al-Safi , may his glory last, and the Secretary General of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, academics, hawza scholars and researchers worldwide .

The opening activities began with a verse from the Glorious Quran recited by the reciter Sheikh. Mahdi Qalandar, then reading Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the believers and the martyrs of Iraq. The university in its welcome speech, delivered by the Dean of the College of Law, Sheikh Asst. Prof.Dr. Ahmed Al-Khafaji showed great hospitality to all the guests and attendees .

The conference included a group of events in addition to presenting two research sessions, "Research Papers" and various titles by researchers on the blessed chronicle of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

The first session was under the direction of Asst. Prof.Dr. Hussam Al-Obeidi, on the ground floor - Hall of the scientist Nasir Al-Din Al-Tusi, and on the first floor - Sheikh Dhiaa Al-Din Al-Iraqi Hall, there was the second session under the direction of Asst. Prof.Dr. Iyad Sahib Hammadi.

It is noteworthy that the first International Scientific Imamate Seven Days held by the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine covers a variety of  artistic and cultural competitions : short film competition, visual arts competition for youths , poetry competition, calligraphy competition, literary essay competition, artistic posters and short video clips competition, short story competition .
