The College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel held a scientific lecture : “ISO Standards,” presented by Dr. Diaa Naji Hamza, as part of the activities to raise awareness of quality systems and academic accreditation. The lecture took place on Saturday, 23 May 2026.
The lecturer discussed the concept of ISO international quality standards and their application mechanisms in educational and health institutions. He explained their role in developing administrative and academic performance and raising the efficiency of institutional work according to approved international standards, thus contributing to achieving continuous improvement and ensuring quality.
Also the lecture aimed to highlight the importance of implementing quality systems in the university environment, promoting a culture of institutional accreditation within the college, and supporting modern approaches to developing academic and administrative performance.
At the conclusion of the event , the lecturer recommended the necessity of strengthening the culture of quality and accreditation within the college , applying ISO standards in various administrative and academic aspects and continuing to hold specialized lectures and workshops on quality systems and accreditation to keep pace with global developments in this field.
