Under the auspices of the university of Alkafeel chancellor , Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the university affiliated to the Commission of Education and Higher Education at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, organized a commemorating session for the martyrdom of Imam Hassan the chosen in the Presidency of the University , the Event Hall on Wednesday, 23 August 2023 in the presence of the faculty and university employees.

    The mourning session began with a verse from the Glorious Quran recited by Mr. Ali Al-Zubaidi from the Glorious Quran Institute affiliated to the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine , Najaf branch . Then His Eminence Seid. Jaafar Al-Morouj ascended the pulpit to touch upon the chronicle of the imam : his benevolence and great deeds . In the narrations, a man came to him asking for a need and he was ashamed of the attendees , so the Imam , peace be upon him, said to him: “ Write your need on a piece of paper and submit it to us” , so the man wrote his need and submitted it, so the Imam doubled it twice for him and gave it to him with great humility. There are many stances for the imam in the face of the great injustice that happened to him by the unjust governments and the people of his time, this is how Imam Hassan , peace be upon him, moved to his Lord as a poisoned martyr, and when he was dying he said to his brother Imam Hussein , peace be upon him : “ No day like yours O Aba Abd Allah” such designates the injustice of Imam Al-Hussein in Karbala and what happened to him from what Imam Al-Hassan knew about his father, mother and grandfather , may Allah bless him and his family. So, peace be upon Imam Al-Hasan (peace be upon him) the day he was born, the day he was martyred, and the day he resurrects , and we ask Allah Almighty for the intercession of him , his grandfather and the pure imams peace be upon them” .
