The meeting was chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, and the deans and their assistants, on Saturday, 13 December  2025.

     At the very outset of the meeting the University President expressed his gratitude to the college administrations and the Registration Department, commending their significant efforts and high level of collaboration in ensuring the success of the student registration process for the 2025-2026 academic year, particularly the excellent reception and organization provided to first-year students in all colleges.

     The meeting also focused on discussing the research plan and emphasizing its importance as a cornerstone for improving the academic ranking of the university , tackling the preparations for upcoming scientific conferences and other events.

     There was an emphasis on the importance of regular meetings with students to observe their academic affairs, listen to their feedback and opinions, and address them in coordination with parents to contribute to a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

     In this regard, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, stressed the need to strengthen communication between colleges and students and to support scientific and research activities in line with the university vision of raising the academic level and achieving its scientific and educational goals. Such a meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings to solidify institutional work and integrating efforts between the university administration and colleges to bring the scientific and educational objectives of the university into effect.
