On Tuesday 19 September 2023, University of Alkafeel in collaboration with the Directorate of Civil Defense in Najaf province / Rehabilitation and Training Section , held a training course for three days under the supervision of Lifelong Learning Center .
The course focused on civil defense sciences : how to fight fires , evacuate buildings and institutions in earthquakes and environmental disasters , to prevent , rescue and to have safe evacuation. The Deputy . Asaad Hassan Abdel-Amir Al-Dhalami delivered a lecture , with the participation of Maintenance Division, Information Division, and University Security Guards Division , on how to deal with natural disasters, fires, or critical situations and how to aid, rescue, and evacuate. The lecture emphasizing the necessity of teaching the university personnel how to cope with any emergency situation , how provide first aid to an injured person and the basic principles in this field, which will benefit them in their practical and theoretical lives .
