The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies ,  College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Kafeel University held a scientific workshop on "Microbial Diagnosis" on Saturday, 21/10/2023, in the seminar hall. The workshop, presented by Asst. Lectur. Banin Abdul Hussein and Asst Lectur. Sarah Abdul Mohammed, aimed to explain the methods of diagnosing disease-causing bacteria using traditional methods ;  microscopic examination with stains, culturing bacteria on various media and diagnosing based on appearances on the plate , some chemical tests and  modern or commercial methods like the API system and Vitek-2 compact system as well.
