The Department of Scientific Affairs organizes a scientific workshop on Scopus Data Base. The Department of Scientific Affairs at University of Alkafeel, in collaboration with the Lifelong Learning Center, organized a workshop on Scopus Data Base on Monday, 4/12/2023, in the College of Medicine building, lectured by the Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs, Doctor Lecturer Ali Jabbar Al-Dhabhawi. The workshop focused on developing scientific research skills for the university's researchers and how to use the Scopus database site. It also covered how to change the Scopus database from important academic sites for every researcher due to its useful services. The workshop emphasized creating an account on the site in addition to other services and how to activate the university account, choosing a scientific journal to publish research, adding missing research from the Scopus database, and other services within this site. The lecture concluded with recommendations for conducting other scientific workshops that include skills for developing researchers, such as how to prepare research before sending it for publication, teaching researchers how to create a university account from the SCOPUS database, and how to benefit from some services available on the site.
