University of Alkafeel commemorates the anniversary of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra's (peace be upon her) birth and honors students with the abaya at its tenth annual ceremony. Directed by the esteemed legal trustee of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, Seid. Ahmad Al-Safi , may Allah shield his glory.  University of Alkafeel held its tenth annual celebration to honor the birth of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and to recognize female students with the abaya during university hours. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, March 1, 2024, attended by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the vice-rector for scientific affairs , Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mealy and  numerous faculty deans, department heads, and students.

     The event started with recitation of the Holy Quran by the reciter Seid. Muhannad Al-Mealy, director of the Quranic Institute affiliated with the Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine in Najaf Al-Ashraf, then there was a reading of Al-Fatiha in honor of the Iraqi martyrs who responded to the high religious authority  call in the blessed defense fatwa. The university gave an encouraging speech urging its students to adhere to moral values and take pride in their Islamic identity, aiming to empower them and promote spirituality and ethics. The university concluded the ceremony by awarding the committed female students from various faculties, emphasizing their emulation of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) as a model of purity and modesty.
