On Monday, January 15, 2024, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized a commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Muhammad al-Hadi (peace be upon them). The event was attended by the university's rector, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan,vice-rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the deans of the colleges, faculty and affiliates. The session began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed Ahmad Al-Zamili from the Holy Quran Institute affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine. Then, Sayed Ja'far Al-Morooj reviewed the life of Imam Muhammad al-Hadi (peace be upon him) and his confrontation with the tyranny of rulers in his era, and that the policy of the sultans was based on eliminating their opponents by killing them with poison, or by conspiracy, to make it a soft, silent killing among the people. Emphasizing the great stances of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him), Sayed Al-Morooj referred to enduring the oppression and injustice of the rulers until poison was secretly administered to him, as had happened to his pure fathers.
