Supported by University of Alkafeel, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, in cooperation with the Lifelong Learning Center at the university, organized a workshop on "Applying Institutional Accreditation Standards" on Tuesday, 16/1/2024. The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Hamdan from the College of Applied Sciences at Karbala University. The workshop was attended by the vice-rector for scientific affairs , Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, as well as the respected deans of colleges, faculty members, and department directors at University of Alkafeel. The scientific workshop addressed various aspects, dividing into two main parts: evaluating the reality of educational institutions and determining the university's level in applying institutional accreditation standards through examining documentation evidence collected in university formations to ensure achievement of specified indicators. The second part focused on updating and reviewing the university's strategic plan, including colleges and departments, explaining the updating mechanism and review process.
