Supported by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, the third job fair at University of Alkafeel kicked off on Monday, January 29, 2024. Supervised by the Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology and the Information Technology Department, the fair was held on the university campus for three days. It was attended by the Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, Seid. Mustafa Mortadha  Dhi'a Al-Din, Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami, the director of the office of the Holy Shrine legal custodian, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Mousawi, the head of the Higher Education and Teaching Commission at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, board member Engineer Mr. Mohammed Al-Ashiqar, and the Rector of University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr. Nawras Al-Dahaan, academics and interested individuals. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Al-Dahaan emphasized the fair's importance as a step towards linking graduates with the job market, providing job and training opportunities, and developing skills required in the job market. He added that it serves as a platform to showcase the products and projects of participating companies. Mr. Al-Ashiqar, from the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, pointed out the university's efforts to provide suitable opportunities for graduates' specialties, guiding graduates towards opportunities that match their skills and ideas. Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami highlighted the fair's significance as a reflection of the university's commitment to quality standards, providing opportunities for students and graduates in the future, stimulating the national industry, and enhancing the local market. University of Alkafeel continues to support and participate in fairs to provide job opportunities for its graduates and enhance its services through marketing and cooperation with other companies.
