University of Alkafeel witnesses the opening of the Universities Debates: A Scientific Competition and Developmental Role for Youth

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, University of Alkafeel inaugurated the festival of the Iraqi university student for debating  in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The ceremony was attended by the university rector, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, Vice Rector for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs from the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Abbas Talib Al-Habi, and the Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs at Jabir Ibn Hayan Medical University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hanan Dikan , the deans of the colleges ,  department heads and the president of the Leadership and Development. The event started with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by reading Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, and the anthem of “ Eba” pride. Then there was a speech from University of Alkafeel by Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Al-Ghanim, who welcomed the esteemed attendees and highlighted the scientific and cultural significance of the competition in developing student awareness.
