Awareness and educational lecture on drug addiction , sponsored by the University of Alkafeel, in collaboration with Intellectual and scientific Society of Al-Ameed and supervised by Lifelong Learning  Center, was organized on Monday, February 12, 2024. The event showed significant attendance from students, faculty members, and university staff. With the presence of Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan,  the university rector, and several deans and university members, the lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Hashim Hussein, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy and head of the university  drug danger awareness team. The lecture discussed different types of drugs, their harmful effects on individuals and society, and highlighted the importance of prevention and awareness to combat this global phenomenon. This initiative is a part of a series of awareness events and lectures organized by the University of Alkafeel, to solidify its leading role in serving the community and realizing its vision of building a conscious and responsible generation.
