The Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine emphasized the importance of utilizing Iraqi talents and providing a scientific and educational environment based on a clear vision. This was highlighted in the speech delivered by Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami, the office director of the legal authority of the Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine, during the opening of the Fifth International Scientific Conference held at University of Alkafeel on Saturday. The conference is organized in collaboration with Alkafeel specialized Hospital, Al-Ameed University, University of Toledo, USA, and Intellectual and Scientific Society of Al-Ameed . Dr. Al-Shami underscored the Quranic encouragement and prophetic traditions advocating learning and education as a means of salvation, contrasting it with the perils of ignorance. He discussed the challenges faced by the educational journey in Iraq, particularly the disconnect between various educational ministries, leading to the reliance on private education as a necessary solution. Dr. Al-Shami called for serious and realistic plans to make use of the graduates in various specializations, emphasizing the need for activating both public and private sectors to accommodate them and preserve Iraqeducational trajectory.
