The Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation Unit at the Department of Anesthesia and Radiology in the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the University of Alkafeel held a guidance lecture on Saturday, March 30, 2024 “ The Importance of Academic Values," by Lect.Hooriya Ali Hassan delivered the lecture to target the students at the Departments of Anesthesia and Radiology and to raise awareness about the importance of academic pursuit and to encourage students to abandon superficial appearances that distance them from societal values. Lect. Hooriya urged students during the lecture to wear modest academic attire and to reject inappropriate appearances that do not align with the university environment and its reputation. Furthermore , there was an emphasis on the need to provide constructive criticism towards students who do not adhere to the academic uniform and call for respecting university rules and ethics to ensure a suitable and respectful educational environment for everyone.
