The College of Medical and Health Technologies at the  University of Alkafeel organized a workshop on Sunday April 21 , 2024, "Diagnosis of Intestinal Parasites." The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Reza Ahmed Al-Sharifi, Asst. Prof. Shahrabanawya Mehdi, and RA. Iman Star Abdul Hussein.

The workshop aimed to enhance the understanding of laboratory professionals of the methods for detecting and diagnosing intestinal parasites, which are among the leading causes of problems in the digestive system. The workshop explained the methods of sample collection, bioassay and microscopy, which enables laboratory technicians to identify intestinal parasites that infect humans and contribute to the appearance of disease symptoms.
