On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the University of Alkafeel pulled the curtain of the activities of its fourth student conference, lasted for two days, with a theme "Scientific Research: Rootedness and Creativity." The conference was held under the patronage of the university presidency, and in the presence of the chairman of the Higher Education commission at the Holy Abbas Shrine, Dr.Abbas Rashid Al-Moosawi, the respected Rector of the University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, and the vice-rector for scientific affairs . Prof, Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali.

    In the conference so various the participation was : University of Kufa, Jaber ibn Hayyan University , Medical Sciences and Pharmacy,  University of Karbala and University of Alkafeel. Specialized committees from the College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy, College of Engineering, College of Law, and College of Health and Medical Technologies discussed the scientific research of students, evaluating them according to specific scientific criteria and standards.

    The conference aims to encourage scientific research between students and enhance creativity and innovation, as well as to develop their scientific capabilities and boost their confidence. It also encourages them to engage in self-learning and integrate into learning the principles of scientific research and working in teams, which helps prepare them for the academic or professional job market.

    At the end of the conference, the university honored the discussion panels, supervisors, and participating students and presented certificates of appreciation for deans and faculty members for their efforts. The identity of the winners in the first places were announced as a recognition of their scientific excellence.
