Meeting at the College of Medical and Health Technologies on Self-Assessment Report Criteria

On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the College of Medical and Health Technologies held a meeting to discuss the criteria and evidence for writing the self-assessment report, as a part of its Implementation of programmatic accreditation.

    The meeting was attended by the vice-dean for administrative affairs, Dr. Mohammed Jaafar Mohammed Hassan, the Head of Quality Assurance and Institutional Performance Evaluation Department, Lect. Mohammed Zuhair Hassan, and the Head of Medical Laboratory Technology Department, Asst. Prof. Amir Sadiq Yasser Al-Adhari ; they are all members of the Program Accreditation Monitoring Committee. Moreover , members of the Self-Assessment Report Writing Committee in the Medical Laboratory Technology Department participated in the meeting.

    The meeting discussed the criteria and evidence necessary for writing the self-assessment report, as an essential part of the programmatic accreditation requirements. A deadline was set during the meeting for the completion of gathering evidence related to the criteria.

    Attendees emphasized the importance of the college commitment to accreditation standards to ensure the quality of education, with a focus on improving institutional performance and enhancing the level of services provided to students. This is a part of a series of steps taken by the college to boost confidence in its academic programs and achieve excellence in delivering health and medical education.
