On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the rector of the University of Alkafeel, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, cordially received a delegation from Jaber bin Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, led by Prof. Dr. Ali Ismail Abdullah, the rector of the university. The delegation also included Prof. Dr. Mohannad Hameed Al-Atwi, vice- rector for Administrative Affairs, and other members. This meeting was attended by Prof. Dr.Abbas Rashid Al-Mousawi, the chairman of Teaching and Higher Education Commission at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, the Director of Al-Lawa International Company, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Maki Al-Hakkak.

   The visit aims to explore avenues for academic and technical cooperation between the two universities at all levels, with a focus on benefiting from the experiences and achievements of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, especially in the field of higher education and advanced infrastructure. The visit also included a review of mechanisms for developing staff and modern classrooms, in addition to the educational systems in place, which aligns with international standards of leading universities.

    During the meeting, the rector of Jaber bin Hayyan University expressed his great admiration for the achievements of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, reaffirming the university commitment to quality and excellence standards and also lays emphasis on the importance of benefiting from this successful experience to develop infrastructure and teaching methods.

   Through this visit, both universities seek to strengthen academic and technical cooperation, exchange experiences to elevate the level of higher education, and establish strong partnerships that serve the academic community and students as well.
