The Central Library at the University of Alkafeel, in collaboration with the Categorization and Information Systems Center of Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, held a workshop: “ "Development Workshop on Modern Categorization " on Saturday, May 25, 2024. The workshop took five days to show the latest developments in the fields of cataloging and information systems , methods and techniques  in these fields. The course was led by the Director of the Categorization and Information Systems Center, Mr. Hassanain Ahmed Hassanand Mr. Hassanain Najm.

The workshop covered a range of vital topics that contribute to enhancing the skills of professionals in the library and information sector, including modern cataloging techniques and best practices in information systems.
