University of Alkafeel participated in the First Kafa’i Defense Conference, organized by the Al-Abbas Combat Division in cooperation with the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad. The conference was held over two days, Tuesday and Wednesday of June 2024, in the Imam Hassan Hall at the Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine.
Both Asst.Prof.Dr. Dr. Iyad Sahib Hammadi, as representative of the university , and Asst.Prof.Dr. Hossam Ali Al-Obaidi , as a speaker , attend the event . Dr. Al-Obaidi showed his lecture , “ Social brotherhood in the Approach of Religious Authority between Great Shirazi Mujaddid and seid. Al-Sistani ” , may his shadow last.
The conference discussed several main topics; political, security, economic, social, legal and administrative aspects to reflect its comprehensiveness and diversity in dealing with essential issues. There was a series of academic and scientific events to enhance dialogue and understanding between various parties, and shed light on the role of religious authorities in achieving social brotherhood and stability.
