The Secretariat General of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine launched the activities of the Second International Imamate Seven Days today on the slogan "Prophethood and Imamate: Two Single-Rooted Palm Trees beyond Chasm” Single-Rooted Palm Trees beyond Chasm” and entitled as "The Curricula of Imams to Educate Individual and Nation," as of June 27 to July 4, 2024.

     The first day witnessed the presence of the Legal Custodian of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, Seid. Ahmed Al-Safi (may his honor be preserved), Secretary General Seid. Mustafa Murtadha Al-Dhiaa Al-Din, several members of the administration council, shrine officials, the rector of University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr.

Nawras Muhammad Shaheed Al-Dahan, the rector of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashami and academic and religious nationwide and worldwide .

    The activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Seid. Haider Jallokhan, then playing Iraqi national anthem and the Holy Shrine anthem. Surah Al-Fatiha was recited in memory of the Iraqi martyrs. Seid. Ahmed Al-Safi delivered the word of Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, then documentary film about the activities of the first International Imamate Week was shown , poetry was recited recital and prominent scientific figures were honoured .

    The second Imamate Seven Days includes the organization of 12 scientific conferences, each focusing on one of the Twelve Infallible Imams (Peace be upon them), workshops, seminars, and art competitions went along with the conferences . This event aims to highlight the role of Ahlalbayt (Peace be upon them) in addressing contemporary intellectual and social challenges, and to raise awareness about their chronicles and teachings in managing current crises.
