Dr. Ali Ismail, representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, emphasized today, Friday, June 28, 2024, that the theme of Imamate Seven Days: "Prophethood and Imamate: Two Single-Rooted Palm Trees beyond Chasm” underscores the close relationship between the roles of Prophethood and Imams in disseminating the divine message and achieving social justice.

    This statement was made during his speech at the Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) Conference held at the University of Alkafeel in Najaf, as part of the activities of the Second International Imamate Seven Days , organized by the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine on the slogan : "Prophethood and Imamate: Two Single-Rooted Palm Trees beyond Chasm” and entitled as "Curricula of Imam to Educate Individual and Nation."

    Ismail praised the efforts of the University of Alkafeel andHoly Al-Abbas Shrine in organizing this significant conference that contributes to enhancing knowledge. He stated that the theme highlights the close relationship between the role of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his family) and the role of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) and his infallibles (Peace be upon them) in spreading the divine message and achieving social justice. He added that "exploring and understanding this relationship enhance our comprehension of the concept of wise leadership based on the duality of knowledge and ethics, especially in the light of current cultural challenges." He felt proud of the academic institutions participating in this conference, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between academic and religious institutions in promoting the understanding of Islamic concepts.  

    Dr.Ismail concluded his speech by thanking the University of Alkafeel and the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine for organizing the conference, expressing his confidence that the scientific contributions would contribute to the success of the event, and praying for prosperity and justice for society.

    The Imamate Seven Days , organized by Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, aim to dedicate the sciences and chronicles of Ahlalbayt (Peace be upon them) and highlight their role in addressing contemporary world crises and countering deviant ideas.
