The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at the University of Alkafeel organized a mourning session on Monday morning, August 12, 2024, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba , the chosen (peace be upon him) in the university events hall.

The ceremony was attended by the rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, and several faculty members and university staff.

The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Sheikh Qudama Al-Khudari from the Quran Institute of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine - Najaf Al-Ashraf Branch.

Then Sayyid Jaafar Al-Marouj delivered a lecture in which he reviewed the life of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), highlighting aspects of his life, particularly his renowned generosity and kindness. Sayyid Al-Marouj shared a story about a man who sought help from Imam Hassan (peace be upon him), and the Imam responded by fulfilling his need in abundance, exemplifying his humility and generosity.

    Sayyid Al-Marouj also touched upon key moments in the life of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him), noting the great injustice he suffered at the hands of the tyrannical governments of his time, leading to his martyrdom to dies from poisoning. He concluded his lecture by mentioning the final words of imam Al-Hassan to his brother, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), during his last moments: "No day is like your day, O Aba Abdullah," referring to the profound tragedy of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in the Battle of Karbala.

At the end of the ceremony, food was distributed to the visitors of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) at the University of Alkafeel mowkib , guest pavilion , which offers a variety of services, including food, drinks and medical and health services.
