The University of Alkafeel continues today, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, with the activities of the "Vocational Safety and Management of Biological and Chemical Dangers in Educational Laboratories and Medical Clinics" course for the second consecutive day at the College of Medical and Health Technologies.
The course targets new faculty members and lowerrank instructors to familiarize them with the fundamentals of general safety related to the materials and tools used in chemical and biological laboratories.Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Sahib Saad Yahya Jibran, an ACS-certified instructor, explained that the course is divided into two main parts. The first part is theoretical, covering the basics of chemical materials and laboratory management. The second part is practical, focusing on applying these fundamentals to real-world scenarios. Dr. Jibran added that a final test will be conducted on Saturday, after which participants will be awarded a certificate of completion and a letter of appreciation for their efforts. Such a course reflects the commitment of University of Alkafeel to promoting awareness of the principles of occupational safety and risk management in educational and medical environments to ensure a safe and effective working environment.
