The University of Alkafeel participated in the second international road race forum organized by the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with several hosting universities and the Student Activities Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the slogan "Love and Peace," on Monday, October 7, 2024.

    The University of Alkafeel earned the third place in the faculty staff race category, Prof. Dr. Hussein Al-Bakka picked the third rank in the four-kilometer race. This participation aimed to foster a spirit of competition and positive engagement among Iraqi universities. Additionally, the forum witnessed notable participation from the University of Alkafeel students, who competed in the marathon of the student categories. The university was represented by several students from various colleges : Zain Al-Abidin Ali Hameed, Ali Shaker Suwan, Hassan Ali Abdul-Hussein, and Jaafar Haid Kamal.

    The university delegation was accompanied by Ms. I'timad Kamel Tawfiq, the Head of Student Activities Department, and Mr. Amir Hussein Saleh, who expressed their pride in the participation and achievements of the university. This forum is part of the Ministry of Higher Education efforts to enhance student interaction and promote sports activities that aim to instill values of cooperation, love, and peace between students and faculty in all the Iraqi universities.
