Today, Sunday, 10/13/2024, the five-a-side football championship began at university of Alkafeel under the auspices of the university presidency and the supervision of the Student Activities Department. The championship was held in the Asaad Shukr Futsal Hall, and witnessed a confrontation between the teams of the College of Dentistry and the College of Technical Engineering.

   The match ended with the victory of the College of Dentistry team to be qualified for the next stage of the championship. There was a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere between the participating students.

    In this context, Asst. Prof. Itimad Kamel Tawfiq Al-Najm, Head of the Student Activities Department at the university, manifested the importance of this event in enhancing communication between students and heightening the sportsmanship of them , and stressed that the university pays great attention to sports and cultural activities that contribute to building the personality of the student and developing his skills beyond the academic framework.

    Al-Najm added: "We continue to organize such championships and events that contribute to improving the athletic performance of students and strengthening relations of cooperation and teamwork between them."

    It is noteworthy that the championship comes in a series of student activities that Al-Kafeel University seeks to support and develop sports talents in the campus.
