On Sunday, 10/13/2024, a meeting was held at the  Department of Anesthesia at the College of Medicaland Health Technologies, chaired by Asst. Prof.Dr. Israa Abdul Amir Falih .It was held with members of the Guidance Committee in the department.

    The meeting aimed to solve the problems and obstacles facing students, and to enhance cooperation between the committee and the teaching staff in serving the guidance process. Dr. Israa stressed the importance of following up the students and addressing the problems that hinder their academic career through periodic weekly meetings.

    The meeting included a set of recommendations presented by the Head of the Department to the members of the committee, there was an emphasis on the necessity to provide the Head of the Department with weekly reports on the activities of the committee and the obstacles it may face. The importance of establishing friendly relations between students and the advising professor was also emphasized to support trust and facilitate communication.

    Dr. Israa stressed the need to guide students towards commitment to moral values and instill positive concepts, and also to the importance of participating in scientific, cultural and social activities. The challenges associated with the continuous absence of some students were also discussed, as well as the need to follow up their academic level and provide the necessary support to improve academic performance.
