College of Pharmacy Students Organizing Event to Support Orphans on Birth Anniversary of Lady Zainab , peace be upon her

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady.Zainab Al-Kubra (peace be upon her), students of the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel organized an event on Saturday 9/11/2024, aiming to support orphans. This event came as part of the celebration of university for such an esteemed occasion, and as an expression of the human values that the university seeks to promote between its students.

    The event included a group of activities that aimed to provide psychological and moral support to orphans, and highlight the importance of caring for this societal group, especially in light of the challenges they may face in their daily lives. The event was also attended by a group of students who arranged and implemented activities, which included distributing gifts and recreational activities and dialogue sessions to talk about how to provide support to orphans.

      In a statement, one of the participants in organizing the event said: "This initiative was a valuable opportunity for us as students at the College of Pharmacy to interact directly with the community and provide support to those in need. We believe in the importance of the social role that we are to play as a young generation  , and this event embodies our commitment to the principles of social responsibility. We are proud that this event is on the occasion of the birth of Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her), as we seek to spread hope and joy in the hearts of orphans, to let them feel that they are an integral part of society."

    In this regard, Dr. Farah Abdul Hussein, one of the lecturers at the College of Pharmacy and supervisor of organizing the event, confirmed that these activities enhance human values and social solidarity between students and society. The university indicated that the support of the students for the community initiatives contributes to building a more cohesive society that cares about vulnerable groups.
