In the context of enhancing administrative and academic competencies, the Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel organized a specialized training workshop on the procedures for examination committees through the Siraj electronic platform (UIMS), on Sunday 10 November 2024.

    The workshop included a lecture on its first day by Asst. Prof.Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amri, which included a detailed explanation of the procedures and instructions related to exams according to the university guide and ministerial instructions.

    On the second day, in the workshop there was a lecture by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siddiq Ghani Al-Mahna, who explained how to manage sub-examination committees using the Siraj system, focusing on the powers of the sub-committees and their integrated working methods with the main committee. A practical simulation of some examination cases was also presented, including common errors and how to address them practically to ensure the smooth implementation of the examination process.

    The authorities granted to the committee chairman and committee members were also highlighted : procedures related to fixing grades, auditing data, and handling emergency cases, up to announcing the results electronically and in a secure way.

    The workshop aimed to enable members of the examination committees to use the Siraj platform efficiently, and to ensure that examinations are conducted in an accurate way in line with the regulations in force at the university.
This workshop is an important step in developing the level of administrative and academic work at University of Alkafeel , and training employees in examination committees on innovative tools that contribute to improving university performance.
