A delegation from Al-Kafeel University participated in the Iraqi Universities Swimming Championship 2024, which is held at the University of Baghdad / College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, on Monday 11/11/2024. There were some students : Ali Faris Hamid, Mustafa Hazem Taama, Ahmed Ali Nasser, and Prof. Dr. Hussein Abdullah Abdul Redha, under the supervision of Mr. Nabil Kamel Al-Yasiri.

    Al-Yasiri stressed, “The participation of our students in this championship is a great opportunity to enhance the spirit of sports competition and develop their skills in swimming. We are proud to represent University of Alkafeel in this major event, and we seek to achieve distinguished results and elevate the name of our university between Iraqi universities. We also extend our thanks to the University of Baghdad and the organizing bodies for their great efforts in arranging the championship and providing an encouraging competitive environment for students.”

    The championship reflects the commitment of the university to sharing the academic and the extracurricular activities . The competition comes within a series of events organized by the University of Baghdad in cooperation with a number of Iraqi universities, and in coordination with the Student Activities Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Iraqi University Sports Union . The championship will last for five days from 11 to 14/11/2024, as university teams will compete in various swimming matches to enhance sportsmanship and communication between students from different universities.
