On Wednesday, 4/12/2024, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized an annual mourning session on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the Lady of the Women in the Worlds, Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), according to the third narrative of her martyrdom.
The session witnessed the attendance of Prof. Dr.Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , President of the University, and a number of deans and their assistants and a group of university staff members.
The session opened with a fragrant recitation of verses from Glorious Quran by the reciter seid. Muhannad Al-Mayali, Director of Glorious Quran Institute , affiliated with Holy Al-Abbas Shrine in Najaf Al-Ashraf. This was followed by a lecture by Sheikh Jaafar Al-Wa’ili, in which he discussed the injustice against Lady Zahra (peace be upon her), her pivotal role in supporting the message of the Holy Prophet (may God bless him and his family), and how she was an example of patience and faith to be an eternal role model for the Islamic nation.
The establishment of this session the commitment of the university to revive religious occasions and promote spiritual values that highlight the status of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their role in building an Islamic society based on noble principles.
